Senior Vice President, Executive Search & Partner
The SVP of Executive Search & Partner, will operate as a strategic leader driving two critical functions: executive search excellence and revenue growth. This role combines the precision of top-tier retained search execution with the relationship-building skills needed for business development.
This position offers significant autonomy in building your client portfolio while leveraging the firm’s established reputation. You’ll have the opportunity to shape both the search strategy and business development initiatives, with compensation directly tied to your success in both areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand client relationships across the lifesciences and healthcare
- Drive business development initiatives and maintain key account relationships
- Attend local industry events to further expand Slone Partners’ reach and build relationships with industry leaders
- Lead full lifecycle retained executive searches for Vice President to C-level and Board positions
- Manage a dedicated team comprised of a recruiting assistant, sourcer, and data team member
- Ensure successful search execution and exceptional client service
Position Requirements & Experience
Qualified candidates will possess a relevant combination of the following
- Proven work experience in recruiting/talent acquisition at the VP/C-level/Board-level or equivalent, with experience in the life sciences and/or healthcare industries; specific experience in retained search model strongly preferred
- Skillset: Critical thinker, strategic orientation, problem-solver, strong/proactive client management skills
- Quality-oriented; motivated by creating an exceptional client experience
- Competitive and driven personality; results-oriented
- Excellent knowledge and continued focus in understanding relevant markets, trends, best practices, processes, etc.
- Professional, confident, yet humble leadership presence with the ability to be recognized as a thought leader both within Slone Partners and externally with industry leaders
