Dr. Thomas Tiffany |
Dr. Thomas Tiffany, after engineering the growth of PAML, Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories, from a small regional laboratory to one of the 10 largest reference laboratories in the United States, is retiring at the end of the year.
In growing his Spokane, WA.-based company, Dr. Tiffany developed a strategic vision and then maintained focus, not merely by sticking to a business plan but by hiring a strong team that shared and reinforced his vision.
“My style is one that seeks to work through good teamwork, to work to the strategic plan, to value my directors and our employees, and to award good performance.”
The value he places on having a great and supportive team has apparently had a parallel at home. “I have a very loving wife who has managed the family affairs well and who has supported me and the children with her love and wisdom.” This team, which includes kids and their spouses and seven grandchildren, will be headquartered not in a lab, but in a lake cabin.
Slone Partners is proud to have been selected by PAML to conduct the search for its new CEO.
