GAIL MARCUS Gail Marcus is a senior health care executive with over 25 years experience managing and growing domestic and international businesses. She is currently Healthcare Segment Leader for Tatum's eastern region and serves as an advisor and consultant to healthcare service organizations, including hospital systems, managed care organizations and diagnostic companies. Previously, Gail was President and CEO of Caris Diagnostics, a privately held laboratory company. Under her leadership, Caris became one of the nation’s leading aggregator of anatomic and molecular diagnostic services. Prior to her tenure with Caris Diagnostics, Gail served as Chief Operating Officer for United HealthCare European Operations, building from start-up a complete health care consulting and services business. Before joining United Health Care, Gail served as Senior Vice President and Chief Product and Revenue Officer at Advance PCS Pharmacy Benefits Management, where she also led the post-merger integration with Caremark. Gail spent over twenty years at CIGNA HealthCare in various financial, product , strategy and marketing roles, including Assistant Treasurer, Vice President and Controller, Senior Vice President, Product Development and Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, International Operations. While based in the UK, Gail was assigned as a turn-around specialist for troubled overseas life and health businesses. Gail holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and an MS in Information Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania. She received a BA in Mathematics and Spanish from Wesleyan University. She is an adjunct professor at University of Connecticut business school. She sits on the boards of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Connecticut affiliate and is chair of the Grants Committee. She also sits on the Board of a Canadian company, XpertDoc, and the Commission for Case Management.
